Noida, October 5, 2025 — The Institutional and Industrial Dispute Resolution Centre (IIDRC), through its academic division IIDRC Edge, successfully hosted a two-day training workshop titled “AI in Legal Research” for the students and faculty of the Hamdard Institute of Legal Studies and Research (HILSR), Jamia Hamdard University.
Held on October 4–5, 2025, at IIDRC’s Training Hall in Noida, the workshop brought together 22 participants who explored how artificial intelligence is reshaping the way legal professionals conduct research, draft, and analyze cases.
The sessions were led by Mr. Hamid Baig, Chief Executive Officer of IIDRC, who is also a researcher and author with years of experience in his field.Through practical demonstrations and live exercises, participants learned how to use AI-based tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and creativity in legal writing.
The program went beyond lectures — it was interactive, immersive, and designed to prepare future lawyers to adapt to the evolving legal-tech ecosystem. Faculty members from HILSR, including Dr. Kulsum Haider, played an active role in coordinating the training, ensuring a seamless learning experience for all attendees.
The success of this workshop marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration between IIDRC and academic institutions to introduce law students to the future of dispute resolution, legal research, and artificial intelligence.
