TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the enrolment, participation, and completion of certificate courses offered by IIDRC Edge. By registering for any Course, the Participant agrees to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the following words shall have the meanings assigned to them below:

(a) “Course” means any certificate programme, workshop, or training session offered by the Institute, whether delivered online or in-person, as announced and described in the official course brochure or communication published by the Institute from time to time.

(b) “Institute” means IIDRC Edge and IIDRC engaged in the design, administration, and delivery of certificate programmes, training workshops, seminars, webinars, conferences, panel discussions, and other professional development initiatives, whether conducted online or in-person, and having its premises at Noida.

(c) “Participant” means any individual who has successfully registered and enrolled for a Course offered by the Institute, and whose enrolment has been confirmed by the Institute upon receipt of the applicable course fee.

3. Enrolment & Registration

3.1 Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of the full course fee and issuance of a registration confirmation by the Institute.

3.2 The Participant must ensure that all information provided at the time of registration is accurate and complete. Submission of false or misleading information shall be grounds for immediate cancellation of enrolment without refund.

3.3 The Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of participants for each Course. Enrolments beyond the specified limit will not be accepted.

3.4 Enrolment is personal and non-transferable. A registered Participant may not transfer their seat to another person.

4. Course Fees and Payment

4.1 The course fee for each programme shall be as specified in the official course announcement or brochure published by the Institute.

4.2 All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration, unless a specific instalment plan has been communicated in writing by the Institute.

5. Course Delivery

5.1 Courses are delivered in the following formats, as specified in the course announcement:

(a) Online (Live): Interactive sessions conducted in real time over a video conferencing platform.

(b) In-Person / Classroom: Sessions held at the Institute’s premises in Noida or at a venue notified in advance.

5.2 The Institute reserves the right to change, modify, or update the course content, schedule, faculty, or mode of delivery at any time, with reasonable prior notice to participants.

6. Recordings of Live Sessions

6.1 All live online sessions may be recorded by the Institute. Such recordings are the exclusive property of the Institute.

6.2 Participants must not record any session, in whole or in part, by any means, including screen recording, audio recording, or video recording, without prior written consent from the Institute.

6.3 Unauthorised recording, reproduction, or distribution of any session, in whole or in part, shall constitute a material breach of these Terms. The Institute shall be entitled to cancel the Participant’s enrolment without refund, initiate disciplinary proceedings, and take such civil and/or criminal action as may be necessary under applicable law, including the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

7. Certificates of Completion

7.1 A certificate of completion shall be issued to every Participant who successfully completes the Course.

7.2 Completion shall be determined on the basis of attendance and, where applicable, satisfactory submission of any assessments or assignments.

7.3 For courses comprising assessment/tests, participants must attain the minimum qualifying marks prescribed for each assessment/tests in order to be deemed to have completed the course.

7.4 The minimum attendance requirement shall be communicated in the course information. Participants who do not meet the attendance requirement shall not be eligible for a certificate.

7.5 Certificates are issued in the name of the registered Participant only and may not be transferred or reissued to another person.

8. Intellectual Property and Prohibited Activities

8.1 All course materials provided to Participants, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, reading materials, case studies, and recorded content, are legally protected under copyright and other intellectual property laws and are the exclusive property of the Institute.

8.2 Participants may use the course materials solely for their personal study and reference. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

(a) Modifying, publishing, distributing, reproducing, selling, or displaying any course content without prior written consent from the Institute.

(b) Sharing login credentials or course access with any other person.

(c) Using any course content for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

(d) Collecting or tracking the personal information of other participants.

(e) Scraping, extracting, or copying data from the Institute’s website or learning platform by any automated or manual means.

8.3 Any breach of this clause may attract immediate termination of access and legal action under applicable laws, including the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

9. Conduct During Courses

9.1 Participants are expected to maintain professional and respectful conduct throughout the duration of the Course. The following shall constitute a breach of these Terms:

(a) Engaging in any form of harassment, intimidation, or discrimination against any other participant, faculty member, or staff.

(b) Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty in any assessment or assignment.

(c) Disrupting the conduct of any session, whether online or in-person.

(d) Using offensive, abusive, or threatening language in any interaction connected to the Course.

(e) Defaming, slandering, or making false statements about the Institute, its faculty, or other participants.

9.2 The Institute may, at its sole discretion, remove a Participant from the Course for breach of conduct without any refund of fees.

10. Termination of Access

10.1 The Institute reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate a Participant’s access to any Course or platform, with or without prior notice, in the following circumstances:

(a) Breach of any provision of these Terms.

(b) Provision of false or misleading information at the time of registration.

(c) Any direction from law enforcement or a competent government authority.

(d) Occurrence of unexpected technical issues that require immediate action.

10.2 Upon termination, the Participant shall have no claim to a refund of fees or any other compensation, except where the termination arises solely from the Institute’s own fault.

11. Privacy and Data

11.1 The Institute shall collect and process personal data of Participants for the purposes of enrolment, course administration, issuance of certificates, and communication.

11.2 Participants consent to receiving communications from the Institute regarding the enrolled Course and future programmes offered by the Institute.

11.3 Third-party links or resources, if any, shared during a Course are provided for reference purposes only. The Institute does not endorse or take responsibility for the content of any external website or resource.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 The Institute’s total liability to any Participant shall in no event exceed the course fee paid by that Participant.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 In the event of any dispute or grievance arising out of these Terms or the Course, the Participant shall first raise the matter in writing with the Institute. The Institute shall endeavour to resolve the matter within fifteen (15) working days.

13.2 If the dispute is not resolved through the internal process, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi.

14. Reservation of Legal Rights

The Institute reserves the right to pursue all remedies available under law and in equity against any Participant who violates these Terms. The exercise of any one remedy shall not be deemed a waiver of any other remedy available to the Institute.

15. Amendments

The Institute reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. It is the Participant’s responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
